Sleep There’s a couple of standout hostels on the Quilotoa Loop which provide much needed rest after a days trekking. Check out The Black Sheep Inn eco-lodge and Hostal Llullu Llama, both on the route.
Try Mountain biking, rafting, cliff swings, bungee jumping and horseback riding. Banos has a wealth of adventure options for travellers.
Do The Quilotoa Loop. Three to five days of trekking through stunning countryside, it can feel like you have Ecuador all to yourself. Don’t let stories of steep climbs or altitude put you off – it’s not something to skip.
